Help me billd my Nishiki
I donated parts too early and now am stuck while building a Nishiki International.
I need a 21mm stem for 26.0 standard drop bars. hints?
thanks

No such beast, Rob. Although, the cheap, boat anchor Walds are steel and the clamp is easily bent to accommodate a 26.0 bar. You could ream a stem with a 25.4mm clamp, but it'd be smarter to buy a good stem with a 26.0mm clamp in exactly the reach you need and have it turned down by a machine shop.
My '81 Schwinn Voyageur 11.8 has the same size internal diameter steerer. Here it is pictured with a Wald stem and Nitto Noodles.
Here it is later with a Technomic that my local machine shop turned down to 21.1mm for $20.
If you want the Wald I have email me your address and I'll send it along.
