It would be nice if the seller had some high rez shots to look at. The scaled down CL attachments make it look like a bad rattlecan job. A Joe Bell paint job costs more than the asking price.

"501 tubular" signals a seller who doesn't do C&V. I like "but better color." Maybe it's an estranged spouse with custody, seeking revenge.

The pictures are too blurry.
It has the International's center pull rear brake bridge, but the brake cable braze-ons are wrong, and the shifters were clamped on on my circa 1975 International. Maybe Raleigh changed these in later years?
"Better color". Heh.

I agree that the original color with the gorgeous lugs is drastically better but if it is a 70's international, 250 (probably less) seemed like a sweet deal for someone.

Lots of modifications, but probably done by Rob Roberson, so at least done well. No chrome indicated to me the chrome was toast before the repaint.
A deal nonetheless.

User DKop3 might be able to check it out for you. He posted in the 'facilitators' thread. https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...1#post11403274

I just scored a green Raliegh international by driving the owner to Wal Mart and buying him a brand new NEXT bike.
I haven't even really looked at it yet, but it is complete, though a little beat - the guy was using a naked chain as a lock. I will take pictures shortly.
How did I do?
