Peugeot bike Replacement brakes p10
Hey! This is my first time posting here but been an avid reader for a few months finally I have a reason to post!
I recently got a Peugeot p10l for 15pounds! Cheap I thought... I have also beentrying to upgrade a few things handlebars as they were bent and brke levers with new calipers as my weinman 500's rethreaded itself!
My question is: which calipers would fit this bike nicely only really want to spend around 40 pound max on them
Thanks in advance for the help and I Will also attach some pics in a bit

Uhmmm....If you want to keep it factory stock....Weinmann 500s or 650s??
They were Peugeot's "workhorse" brakaesets in the 80's. Sometimes a bit hard to keep centered, but pretty much bulletproof. Anything better looking or with smoother action will cost money.
A bit more money and you can get nice mid level Diacompes or Shimano 600s for smooother operation, more sophisticated mechanical design and better finish, but that is if you really want to put more money into this entry level bike, which I think a lot of other Peugeot owners might agree to as they ride so well when modded up.

I'm sure you could put dual pivot Tektros on it for under your 40 pound limit.
I just checked a UK site and I obviously overestimated the value of the Pound. Maybe you'll find something on UK eBay. You'll need to know the reach you'll need. Measure from center of brake bolt to center of rim braking surface.
