It's the little black thing on the bottom tube, I believe it was to hold the tire straight when you wanted to lean your bike against a wall or something. Anyway, my girlfriend's broke on hers and she used it all the time. Trying to track one down but not a clue where to begin....

Rhode Gear Flikstand. A member here has several for sale in the FS section

There is also a velo orange product that could serve a similar purpose.

I know, right? My girlfriend's is the same bike (or at least i'm almost 100% sure) in a dark blue. We had to do a little searching because for some reason the model sticker has been pealed off or something.

I bought two and they don't fit any of my bikes. The tire is too close to the downtube.

The VO wheel stabilizer serves a completely different purpose.

Yeah, that's why i dropped in the 'could' and 'similar'. It'll never quite be the same.

$15 dollars in the C&V For Sale area I think. Let me see if I can find the thread (I bought one; it shipped quickly and works great.)

EDIT: Two sources over in C&V Sales forum: bigbossman, and sirpoopalot. They're both good to deal with. I got mine from sirpoopalot. I see you found them. Note that in sirpoopalot's first posts, he requests you email him (the email is there in the first post) so you don't have to rely on PMing him. Send him and email; I bet he still has one or two if you still need it.

They're easy to adapt with a good pair of sidecutters and pliers.

Very common for the stickers to come off of them (in my experience). I don't know if they were the water transfer type or what. They came off of mine too.
