Craigslist Find-Bianchi Alfana

Picked up an early 90's Bianchi Alfana today. It definitely isn't all original, but overall in good shape, and the price was definitely riight! Shimano 600 crank and derailleurs, RX00 brakes and levers. Crank bolts are hex head Suntour bolts,(Have never seen these before) but I have a set of period shimano bolts to replace them. Shifting is downtube indexed, rear shifting is spot on. Front is friction and needs some work. It overshifts in both directions. Wheels are questionable Mavic SUP SRB. Out of true, and the braking surface is rough in spots on the rear. I'll probably true them up and ride them for a while while I determine what I am going to do. Hubs feel great! Front is 600, rear is a Zipp with a 7 speed Dura Ace freewheel thhat looks like new. (after I cleaned the grease off of it) Wish the hubs matched, but I'll live with them as they spin like new. Pedals on the bike are Wellgo repros, but the seller through in a set of titanium Speedplays, with cleats and shoes. Paint is good, with a couple of minor scrathes and a large chip on the downtube. Fortunately, it is only the paint that is chipped and the steel isn't affected. The pic is as I received the bike. Pulled off the monsterous light, and it weighs in at 21 lbs even. A little cleaning, lubrication, adjusting and a couple of new tires and I should be riding this weekend.
