In 1989 the 7-Eleven team rode Eddy Merckx frames according to my reference material. Huffy was used in 1988. However, the 8 speed parts and brakes used by the team in 1988 were prototypes. Consequently, the 1989 parts best represent the components used by the team.

The Dura-Ace components are; FD-7400 front derailleur, RD-7402 rear derailleur, SL-7402 shift levers, HD-7400 headset, FC-7400 crankset, BB-7400 bottom bracket, BR-7402 brake set, FH-7402 freehub set, CS-7402 cassette, SP-7400 seat post and PD-7401 clipless pedals. Only the equipment ending in 02 was new for 1989.

Other equipment used by the team were: Sedisport chain, Cinelli Volare SLX saddle, Cinelli handlebar tape, Cinelli 66 handlebars, Cinelli XA stem, Wolber Profile 18 rims, DT 14/15/14 gauge spokes, Wolber Champion de France SPI tires, Avocet computers and Specialized bottle cages.

If you are interested, I believe that I have the shift levers in excellent condition and the saddle in NOS condition.
