How about a "Team Edward" racing jersey to go with it?

That would be fun to wear just to (ahem) play with people.

Cool hair Eddie. I gotta try that.

Seriously. I wouldn't want that thing, to answer OP's question, let alone spend money on it.

The photo of an aging Butch Patrick with the bike suggests he got to keep it... so I'm wondering whether the present seller got it from him... or is him.

Zaphod Beeblebrox 07-13-11 01:51 PM

honestly, was anyone that big of a Munsters fan?

I preferred the Addams Family.

Velognome 07-13-11 01:58 PM

Marilyn Munster was hot!

So, ya, I was a fan, but only to fanta.....oh never mind.

As a rare Barris built bike, I'd be interested. However, musters fans are getting to be few and far between these days. MAybe Howard Stern will buy it.

Get a load of the horrible 3-speed trigger routing. The brake bridge was apparently overlooked in favor of a trim piece when they built it - not much holding that rear fender in place.

Those shiny new front stays are a bit of a curiosity, particularly as the rears show overspray.

Someone desperate enough could fake that thing - and for that matter, Barris will pretty much sign authentication documents to anything if you wave enough cash under his nose.

Marilyn Munster was hot, but Eddie Munster was a J.D.

The answer is no. No, I do not want to own Eddie Munster's bike.

realestvin7 07-13-11 04:35 PM

Ay chihuhua. About the broads, not the bike. I mean...about the "pretty vintage ladies".

sailorbenjamin 07-13-11 06:09 PM

Mmm! I love the vintage broads. Ingrid Bergman was the hottest thing in the whole 20th century. Rita Hayworth is right up there, too.

I may be young in relation to you guys, but I use "broads" like I were an older gent. I'm bringing it back...in a big way. :D

SteveSGP 07-13-11 07:00 PM

That's Lily Munster.
