Hi everyone, I just joined here not to long ago so I thought I'd share some pictures of my bike, enjoy! I hope this isn't to many pictures. Hmm... not sure what happened to my links, I'll try again.

Wow! What is the history of the bike? It looks to be in perfect shape.

Thanks! My dad and I both bought track bikes back in the late 70's to ride in the velodrome at Colorado Springs. I got the Pog and he was riding a Pinarello. When I moved to Phoenix in the early 80's my dad wasn't riding as much anymore so both bikes pretty much went into storage. We didn't want to sell them because we really liked the bikes, so they pretty much sat until recently when I had both bikes shipped to me. It's like seeing an old friend again after almost 30 years!

Thanks for the help posting the larger pictures. I'm having a few issues with getting them to show up larger.

That is awesome, are there photos of the Pini coming? I suppose you know that both bikes are worth quite a bit of money now....

Pictures of the Pini will be coming soon! Yeah it's hard to believe what they're going for now, I won't tell you what we paid for them.

I have a friend in PHX that has a road Pog just as sweet as your track. Too bad the nearest velodrome is half a day away.

Pog's are great bikes. Cherish it.

Very nice.

I have a Rossin produced Pogliaghi that I enjoy a great deal.

Yours is the real deal and a beauty. Love the color.

Yeah there aren't many velodromes around here. Fortunately Phoenix is pretty flat so I'll be riding it around the neighborhood. Plus there are quite e few places where I can ride it without worrying about traffic.

PM me for contact info. I'm in PHX in the cooler months. I'd love to see the bike in person, and can maybe arrange a visit to my friend's, who has a road Pog every bit as nice as yours. You two should meet.

I really like this story.

I ride every chance I get with my boys, and you've just reaffirmed in a small way, why I should do it.

Thanks.

....and god only knows what bicycles my boys will get from me someday.

Sorry but I can't PM anybody yet, I need 50 posts before the site will let me send a PM. I would really like to do a photo shoot of the 2 bikes, I think that would be sweet!
