Freewheel choices

I've got a Regina 6-speed freewheel but I'm considering using a Shimano HG freewheel because EVERYONE says they are much better.

On eBay, I've found some but there's also IRD, SunRace and Sunlite. They look to be HG knock-offs and they are cheaper.

Are these other brands worthy or should I stick to the tried and true?

The Sunrace is fine for the price as is the Sunlite and they do have the (twisted teeth) and work very well.

The IRD freewheels are around $50.00 and I have heard some bad things about them, but no first hand experience.

eBay has these brands at Buy Now prices in the mid-20's. The Dura-Ace freewheels must be made of gold plated titanium or something. And they all seem to be 13-19 straight blocks.

I use both Sunrace and Simano and have been happy with both. Check out Loose Screws:

They have some really good prices.

It is also tough to find my favored ranges of 13-26 and 14-26. 26T is the upper limit for most old school "racing" or short cage derailleurs. Fortunately, there are relatively few configurations for the lower gear cog positions and I still have a stash of 26T SunTours and Shimanos for substitution duty. I have changed a 14-16-18-21-24-28 ultra6 to a 14-16-18-21-24-26 for Capo #2. Works great with my 49-46 half-step, since I don't cross large-large.
