I think this thread has faithfully reproduced everything on this forum short of the actual bike content.

I don't flip many bikes but, when I do, it is a C&V bike. When I have been asked this question I just point at my newish Cannondale and tell them I ride this one more and don't need the vintage bike anymore.

Of course, they never see the other C&V bikes hiding in the house.

Let's change the subject .. move in another direction to see if things will settle down.

Grant Petersen rocks!
Tubulars are the best!
Suntour is better than Campagnolo!

You know, fun stuff.

Half the people writing on this thread are thinking way too much, the others are thinking way too little. Meet somewhere in the middle.

Scott

I don't know about rocks but he promptly answered via e-mail the one question I've asked him (about pedals, hah!).

Nothing wrong with being honest.

My response, only answered in person is "I like to find old bikes and fix them up. I think there cool" by then there ready to hand over the money anyway.
