I have an old HD-1055 group-set and was wonder if this may be a good frame to use it on. I actually ordered one that ended up being too big...It is really nice actually, great welsds and great paint, real headbadge and a lugged seat-tube. It's pretty damn light too.

Can't see why not, but for $325 you can get an awfully nice used frame, maybe even 2-3 of them.
What size?

That's the problem I ordered the 52cm and the TT was 53cm. A tad long for me; I'm basically 5'6". I figured I too smallish bike was better than a too big bike and packed it back up (I still have it). I put bars on them and they definately seemed stretched out.

You think I should try out a 49cm?

You really need to see it firstdhand to see how damn beautiful it is. Imagine those well taken pictures, but even better!
