Bridgestone Ladies ST12

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and I'm looking for help.
I've come across a Bridgestone ladies cycle and the only identification on the bike is the words 'stainless' and a symbol that looks like 'st12'.
I've interogated the internet for answers as to what model it is without any success.
Can anyone identify it?

Thanks

I've seen a Bridgestone mixte(twin down sloping top tube) with the model name Skyway 12. A picture would Really help us identify it for you.

I think this might be a bike I've read about. It was made of stainless steel to prevent rusting for use in areas near salt water oceans. I know someone here will know what I'm talking about. Cool bike.

Bridgestone Ladies ST12

1986 BRIDGESTONE SUBMARINER ST-12. Keep it, trust me

The wholesale to the dealer was $165 USD, and were MSRP @ $266 USD
The ST-12 means STAINLESS 12 speed

(Your bike was only marketed in Europe - I happen to have the catalog)

The "rustproof" claim was BS since the fork and stays were high tensile steel. The frames are heavy, but the construction method is unique and interesting. The aluminum lugs were cast onto the main tubes. The stainless quill seat post is also very heavy. Yours is reversed.
