^ If I did, it would be her death sentence; my understanding is they eradicated all the feral felines around 2007 and the last one - protected on the sly by the civilian contractors at the GPS site - passed away due to natural causes this past summer.
My mom will pay her plenty of attention over the next 12 months, though

My daughter is only 3 months old and has not paid any mind to the TV previously. But, yesterday, she was really into the E Street Band and when I turned her away she got pissed. Turned her back to the Boss and she was happy.

Thanks to D.D. I installed my first set of fenders. Planet Bike version - looks like I'll get to try them out tomorrow since we're getting a good rain/snow mix tonight. Now I just need that repro set of Trek decals to make the bike look just a little better.

Apologies for nitpicking (the bike looks great overall!), but the fender line might look better if there wasn't such a gap between the rear wheel and the forward part of the rear fender. Maybe add a little rubber stopper/washers between the fender and the chainstay bridge?

I've lived in eastern Washington most of my life - much less rain than the Seattle area and typically if it rains one day it'll be sunny the next. The last time I lived in Seattle was 10 yrs ago and I wouldn't ride then. Didn't trust people - today it would be a different story. This spring and fall were different with a lot more rain here in my part of the state so I started thinking about fenders more. D.D. just pushed me that direction a little quicker.
Heading out to try them now.

use a spring as a spacer... its still kind of a pita but you get a better fender line and you can still take your wheel out

We did - well, actually my artsy brother-in-law did all the rock work. River rock base from the creek and the sides are cultured stone with a concrete block wall to allow us push the stove back closer to the wall but not have combustion concerns with normal wood framing. The mantle is also mortar that encases
a thick styrofoam that can handle up to 2500 degrees F. The whole unit radiates heat beautifully.
