My daughter's bike. A Chinese brandname, "Best of the Best", the Turbo model. It is currently for sale, since it is such crappy quality...absolute lubbish.

my son and I rented a car and drove over to a beach about an hour from home to do some exploring. At the beach there is a fresh water river emptying into the ocean. On this day there were also hand gliders above us doing their thing. They were landing on the beach in front of us.

someone built a lean to out of driftwood on the beach. Some of the driftwood was impressive as it came from Redwoods.

it was a little chilly there, but the water wasnt too bad when we walked through it to get to the other side.

there were some cool flowers

Henry was pretty worn out afterwards from all the walking, climbing in sand, etc.

Is there such a thing as a salt-water river?

yup

but you're probably right that I didnt need to specifically state that this river was fresh water. Thank you for pointing out my grievous error : )

Very nice pictures. I hope to be in the area by summertime so we can take a ride together and you can show me some of the local wonders.
