During the 50k Stage One of the Tour de Diego

Definitely the oldest bike in the race - but not the oldest rider (well, not by much that is)!

...but it is NOT all riding and pretty roads, while going through bicycle maintenance with the boys in our BSA Troop working on their Cycling Merit badge...I tell them..."you hear ANYTHING on your bike and you should check it out. I heard, and felt a little click/pop while pedaling here tonight." I proceeded to to a quick field check...and found side-to-side play on the cranks, and a couple little rough spots on spinning the crank....NOT good...This is on my "modern" 02 Felt-85. Ordered a Velo Orange Cartridge BB to replace the old one...MUCH simpler to install than OLD SCHOOL, and surprisingly, I found it to be about 2 ounces lighter than the Suntour Superbe Pro....WOW!!!

I have a VO bottom bracket and it's excellent. So...um...what are you planning to do with the Suntour?

I was going to park the Cat and my dog came outside and ran to the curb with her tail wagging furiously... when I stopped she jumped on my lap and we went for a ride with her tail continuing to wag furiously... she has loved bike rides since she was a puppy and I would take her with me.

My housemate took her everywhere on his upright trike and she loved that... some jackholes stole that this spring and I am looking for a replacement as for him it is an important mobility aid.

He cannot get in and out of the Cat because it is too low.

did a late ride to avoid the heat, it was around 7:30PM during this picture. And there was just barely enough daylight for the hour and a half ride home too. I think some summer night rides are coming soon!

A regular customer at the bike shop I used to work at, one day came in with a NOS Nishiki Cresta GT like yours, but red/white finish. It was 30 years old, but showroom condition. Nice bikes!

Entered this photo into an Evans Cycles instagram competition, they chose a few and mine was among it. They invited me to a Velodrome and 'ride in cinema', Sir Chris Hoy will be there, can't go because of date and distance. Might cry now.

I made some lemon ricotta cookies on Sunday. They are iced with lemon juice, zest, and confectioner's sugar.

That a boy!

That'll keep the mud under control.

Could have used those tires yesterday.

A "two flat" day on a 44 mile ride.

Frustrating.
