put indefinite hold on to Pinarellino build.
while going back to the drawing board, it becomes a wall deco

Why are you putting that on hold?

You seemed to have plenty of energy to put together a great rider.

multiple build plan struggle complication, mainly.

Masi 3V is coming back this wknd from powder coater.
it'll be a SS commuter with the Superbe and DA bits on this Pinarello, for a while.
just 'til i finish the Parkpre mtb beater.
Parkpre became a major headache as parts are not coming as planned — will put this story onto another thread.

the more i look at this Pinarellino, the more i am leaning toward a full-Italian build. like a shiny Victory gruppo or something.
the chrome under the flaky paint are too nice to neglect too.

thanks for the encouragement, tho. will come up with a nice one and post. sooooon.

The first day of Spring was gorgeous here. Here's a view from Mt Herman Road, the big buildings are the Air Force Academy.

(a caution to anyone local - don't ride this one yet, above 9000 feet the road becomes extremely muddy and icy in spots and stays that way all the way until the pavement resumes just before Woodland Park)

Ha! I'm thinking of doing something very similar to mine when it arrives in Sweden. It'll help me blend in a little better here in the sea of city bikes.

Lazy sunday: Belgian beer and watching the Milan-San Remo on the "shop" computer while working on a build. Good times.

I love this pic from Sunday night's ride. This is the way it came out of the camera, perfectly framed and the colors/lighting are just right.

I took a ride in the country on Friday and passed through the hamlet of Alligerville. I like that name.
