Visited a classic road bike exhibition and fair this morning. Lots of nice bikes to be seen and bought.

This nice pair of RIH's for instance. His and hers?

Some crumpled steel:

And a pair of Jan Janssen's aero bikes in official Shimano AX livery:

More pictures are here and here.

non-fixie: thanks for the great links! That looked like an amazing day out with a drool-worthy cornucopia of vintage high-quality bikes, frames, parts and clothing. Wish I could've been there for that...

Hahaha! Yes it does look like a turdwich. It is a Bacon Doughnut, I just google searched and found that image. I have never personally tried a bacon doughnut, but I was aware of their existence.

Non-Fixie,
did you happen to capture the price and year of the blue "crumpled steel" Colnago?

Some of those prices seem very nice.

What a fantastic show!

Thanks for the pics and the links.

I'd love to see any additional pics of the white Zullo.

Looks to be in top notch condition.

...and Oria tubing! I've only seen his steel bikes built from Columbus in the past.

Checked my pics but alas, no price. I didn't take as many pictures as I probably should have; I spent most of my time looking for the right Simplex FD for my PR10. Finally found one. For 2.

Took a day off today to start the boating season! Spent most of the day launching and cleaning one of my other C&V playthings: a 1972 Centurion 32.

Rode by this amazing live oak today. I love how the branches grow all over the place.

sometimes the branches will reach the ground:

definitely one of my favorite trees native to this area

I didn't notice the bird and bunny were watching until after I took the photo.

Ha ha ha! Pre-leglift; she was grooming the paw of her hind leg out in front when I got this particular shot. Then she turned around and...well, you know the rest of the story
