It looks like i've got my fit figured out. I did not set these bikes up hanging together, they were all set while riding and adjusting, one at a time. I did set all the crank arms in the same position.

My newest addition to the tool box. They recently started distributing bottles.

Ha. Just illustrative of your point that you've dialed in your fit.

I volunteered yesterday to help the Somerville Bike Committee transport and setup their booth at one of our annual street fairs. I was the only one who had signed up to help out that day, and didn't realize I would have to transport *everything* from one of the committee members' homes to the site, cross-town. I only had my bike and a trailer. Nevertheless, it all fit, and wasn't even too cumbersome. Everything in this photo minus the sand bags and recycling bin got transported by bike:

The great thing is it can confuse the younger generation. Just like my old 1961 Ford with a 3 spd on the tree - they couldn't figure out where the D was for drive.

Pliers? You're such a sissy, just get your hands in there. This looks better than the file that I use.

Nice job southpawboston. You make it look easy, you didn't even have to use the racks on your bike. The repurposed child trailer was a great idea.

This is what I learned on:

Hurricane inline 6 engine, three on the floor with 2/4 wheel drive shifter and hi/lo range shifter. Three sticks in all on that floor, and none of them labeled.

Thanks. It was given to me and I didn't want to put any money into it, but I did buy $15 worth of poultry mesh and zip ties to replace the rotting nylon fabric. To avoid gashing fingers on the rough cut poultry mesh, I just covered the ends with bicycle tubes sliced down the middle, held on by lots of zip ties. I think there's as much weight in all the zip ties as there is in the poultry mesh. But it's still a super light trailer, probably somewhere around 10 lb?

Not bad for $5! Here's my recent bike cave addition:

New England, and Massachusetts in particular, not only has a long history of bicycle builders, but a long history of high end loudspeaker manufacturers. It's still not too hard to find old sets of these fine old A/D/S speakers on Craigslist, and they're amazing for their size. You could even say the Pioneer amp and A/D/S speakers are "period correct" accessories for my Jeunet and Mercian, and PX-10! The iPhone, well, not quite...

Ha! Not so much a sissy, as the pliers make it much easier to hold the cable housing steady. But a regular file actually works pretty well, too. Truth be told, a file may perhaps work even better than the bench grinder in the long run. The rotary wheels heat up (as evidenced by the red line of the wheel), and tend to scorch the internal teflon lining, and can also flatten out the cable housing such that additional clean-up is needed. But a regular file doesn't provide such a good photo opportunity.

I use a Dremel cut off disc. Then I ream the inside of the housing with the end of a cable or sailing needle heated with a cigarette lighter.

Very nice! I learned with a 1976 Honda Accord hatchback and then graduated to my 1965 Ford Falcon Futura with the 289 V8 and Cruise-O-matic transmission.

This, however, is the 3 on the column vehicle I wish I hadn't sold: 1961 Ford Starliner

Ha, those turtles sunning themselves is too cute! Nice nature shots there! The trail along the lake looks great!
