Thanks, otg. How painful did your son find the climb? I thought there were more cyclists on the road than usual on the way to Pinkham notch that morning.
531 Trek in blue, eh? Enjoy the project - looks lovely.
Nice way to spread yuletide cheer, northbend. Great pic.

ha! this was the night before the game. Chip Kelley is doing a great job but we've got a year or two before we can beat teams like Seattle or Green Bay. Is what it is. I wasn't surprised by the outcome of that game.

Thanks! I need to knock it off with the CKs. I have three riders atm and a frameset that I wish I could find a suitable owner for someday.
However, Chris K. won't build forever and I really enjoy the way his framesets ride for me. As they say, it's in the tubes.
Maybe a little like you enjoy your beautiful Stan Johnsons?
As for the Swallow, I keep trying these once in a while. Swifts and Regals are simple choices for me, as they are like an old pair of Zamberlan boots I have. They just fit.

Nope, just Grass Pants. Short but nasty dirt road climb up to one of the local cell towers. A couple of sections over 20% near the top. Nice view though......

I'm hoping for some good climbs/photos at the top when I'm in AZ here in a couple weeks.
