Sad news for sure. I was just watching the NY Fondo on Youtube yesterday and he gave a bike
    away at the awards presentation.

This proves one thing that I have been aware of for quite some time .... Cycling is NO
    safeguard against a heart attack.

Even when preventive medicine is available often people are reluctant to get checked or in our ever costly world reluctant to ask for or spend the dollars for investigating possible disease - Poor man taken before his time - But then again we may find out that he had been living on the edge and cherishing each day including his last ride - I hope this was the case...

We must always remember that everyday is judgment day...

You can imagine how that feels to someone a bit past 60. Fortunately, I've already beaten 50, which a few of my ancestors were unable to do, so I've learned to relax a bit in the past decade.

Besides, if your name in Pinarello, is there a better way to go when the time comes?

What is this? A collaboration between the two companies? I haven't heard of this?

Sad news indeed. 40 is very young.
