Touch up and painting advice
i have a blue peugeot U-10, from about 1980 (i think) that i have converted into a single speed. i was thinking of shaving off the cable housing mounts along the top tube and near the bottom bracket.
so i guess my question is two-fold. what is the best way to take them off and what type of paint should i use to patch it. i want to avoid repainting the whole frame but wouldnt mind patching some of the chips, even with something clear just to avoid rust...
im pretty fresh to all of this so any advice would be great. thanks in advance

Dremel tool with a cutting disc will take those mounts right off and then use grinding bit to smooth it off like it never existed. I love my dremel tool set. When I'm not bike carving I wood carve.

Thats a great start, thanks for the help. Any ideas about the paint? Basic enamel or something else?
