This Medici Pro Strada was ridden both my dad and gramps, and has now been passed on to me. Full Mavic set up except for stem, seat post, pedals, and quick releases. I recently gave it some tlc and totally went through and re did it. Sanded, cleaned and polished off any corrosion or rust and put on new cables and housing and found a Maic handlebar for it. Still needs a different stem before I wrap the bars, but love this thing.

Sometimes you are riding along and it hits you... realizing that this bike is 41 years old.
Admittedly, it seems to have lived a pretty easy life before I got it and think my wife's Raleigh 20 is the same age as her and still looks this good.

All the current press makes me want a (steel) serotta even more. This one would be near the top of my list. The huffy/Murray braded 7-eleven would be tops. Take care of this guy. It looks cherry, I love it.
i take that back. The serotta built "Campagnolo" frame might be first

No repaints. All original parts (except for pedals and tires). First owner just took fantastic care of it.

1984 Davidson Discovery
The Discovery model is the sport touring cousin of the Impulse racer. Both were built to standard sizes and colors, which reduced production time and enabled them to be sold at a lower price than Davidsons custom frames. The build quality is superb, the fire engine red finish is gorgeous, and I love the ride. I have set it up with a mix of 1980s European and Japanese parts including wide-range 12-speed gearing, 27x1ź wheels, rack, and fenders. Its a great all-rounder that achieves a nice balance of lightness, comfort, and utility.

My road bike and commuter, respectively. Detail pix of the Bottecchia are on the Retro Ergo/STI thread. I have no idea how old the Bottecchia is. Mid 70s I think. Columbus SP tubing. Built up with Campy 8 speed Record Titanium, Campy Omega/Ypsilon wheels, a Titanium Chorus seat post, Selle San Marco Rolls saddle.
The commuter is a Nashbar Mk III with Ishiwata tubing and built up with whatever parts I could scavenged from the parts box.

maybe not old enough but it's getting there.. I finally got my 94 barracuda a2r back together. The previous owner had the frame painted and didn't want to finish the project so I bought it and got it all back together. It still needs some tuning, the chain is too long, and some of the parts are temporary but its fun

New saddle (finally tracked down a yellow O2, was looking for a flite, but the cost of entry was top high). This is the first of these I've tried. Wonder why they stopped making these- damn comfy for the weight. Feeling like I finally have this bike sorted. Until i motivate getting the NOS shimano 600 stem on there that is.

This is my '73 Gran Jubilee
She's a little bit of a mess, but I like to ride her.
Some correct, and I believe original components, some not.
We've been together over 10 years, but I am just now starting to get "into"it.
I rode nonstop from the time I was 14 or so til I was 26. But that was 20 years ago.. knowhutImean?
At some point Id like to strip her and give her a nice 3 color paint job, Maybe a nice period Campy groupo.
The plan for now is to ride.
