Chicago Velo Campus and a Schwinn *Pics Included*

Hello everybody! I haven't posted anything in a while but I thought some people would like this. I am an active road rider, but I haven't been on a track in almost 20 years. I used to race in Northbrook on a weekly basis back in the late 80's, early 90's but life got in the way and I stopped racing the track. We are fortunate enough to now have a track on the south side of Chicago, so I went to my dad's house, dragged my trusty Madison out of the crawlspace, cleaned it up and took it too the track. I had the oldest bike out there by at least 10 -15 years, but it rode pretty well. I did a few flying 200's and was able to dive into turn 1 from the top bank of turn 4 hitting almost 40mph on a consistent basis. These pics were from the first day the track was open to the public, so it was probably the first Schwinn ever on that track. Good times!

Very cool, it'd be fun to try a track like that some time.

I want a Madison

Then I could go make a fool of myself on the track.
