where could i find SEKINE chrome stickers

I am in the process of rebuilding a sekine 10 speed (SHA model i think) I found in the dump 2 years ago, I am changing all the steel parts to aluminium, regreasing the bearings wich are pretty much brand new and giving it an oxalic bath in a couple places. touching it up and polishing it with a D/A polisher the paint should look like a mirror after that. The only problem i have is both side of the downtube stickers are mangled up and the seat tube sticker is all cracked from having been left out out for who know's how much time.

is it possible to still fing these stickers ?

No! Been looking for years and without any luck what so ever. My friend on the west coast is restoring a PR10 and he had to make his own stickers, but they are not chrome.

I know this was not much help.

I gave Jim some NOS Sekine decals yesterday. He's working on getting them duplicated at a local sign shop. Will hopefully have some for sale when he gets them.

Or, if you're fanatically dedicated, you could go to Winnipeg and find someone who used to work at the factory; maybe someone has some in their basement.

He is working up some foil decals for the EX Ishiwata tubing decal.

from a quick google of Sekine pics on the interwebs: if you want the downtube SEKINE in all-caps, it's probably a job that a sign maker with shiny "chrome" vinyl film and a plotter-cutter could duplicate for you. This is one example of a graphic that's simple enough that you wouldn't need a decal printer...on the other hand, what I have seen of the seat tube panel decal is another matter: that would take prepared artwork and multi-color printing on "foil". More time and more $$, something that JR at Velocals could do if "Jim" doesn't get you some.
