Czechoslovakian Favorit část druhá (Part 2): Seeing the Potential!

I was surprised by the response to my initial thread. After making the repairs/changes, I decided to start a new thread to make access to the new photographs much easier.

I like to clean and ride a bike before I determine to keep it. Before I could ride my recent purchase, I had to make repairs/changes. After seeing the preliminary results, I think I'm going to like it. The bike rides much nicer than expected.

In no way is this bike complete or finished. Much more work is needed. But now I have a much better ideal how to proceed.

Glad it's working out! The white tape will look nice. That crankset makes me nervous though, I think just because I'm used to seeing at least 5 "spokes" connecting the crank to the chainrings.

No, that "three-pin" crank design is not an issue. Fear not.

Thanks ecnewell and Road Fan.

I intend to ride the bike on a limited basis. I decided to buy it because it was different. I hope it makes a great conversation piece. I do have to say that the saddle is one of the most comfortable saddles that I have ridden and well worth the $70 I paid for the bike.
