what are folks doing for inverse lever grips?

what are folks doing for inverse lever grips?

going to use some dia compe inverse brake levers and looking for ideas for either grips or tape, or some kind of wrap.

Just use the usual bar tape. no different from installing barcon shifters. What is the issue now?

there is no issue, just looking for ideas. i see that dia compe offered matching grips but they don't seem to be available and i don't think i like the way they look anyway.

Rivendell sells cork grips that are made for that style lever, or bar ends. They look sweet but they are a bit pricy..

Is there a contra-indication against using whatever grips you like and cutting the end off?

These from VO look neat IMHO, and seem textured well for grip, although I'm still not embracing upright handlebars (YET).
