Suntour (Rivendell Silver) Shifters On A Campagnolo Shifter Clamp?
Has anybody here successfully done this? If so how and how is it working?

Is there a difference between a Campagnolo shifter clamp and a Suntour? I don't believe there's a difference in the post or the threading.

The shifters I have are for braze-ons. Before I started messing it, I thought I would ask.....

Why do you have to ask these types of technical and practical questions? Can't we just subjectively review Italian racing bikes?

Why would you want to do this anyway? A campy clamp with suntour levers isnt any less cool than a suntour clamp with suntour levers 
Or do you not have a suntour clamp? I probably have a few dozen if you want one.
also, how big is this frame? Dt shifters don't work on frames over 48cm.....

Went and tried it and it doesn't work well. The shifter has a good amount of lateral movement even when tightened down. Oh well. This is on that Moto. I wanted to get some Simplex Retro's to replace the existing Campy down tube shifters but they 'spensive. I had these Suntour's lying around and always liked them......

Nothing wrong but the Retro's & the Suntours shift a little nicer. Less overshift & trim, if you know what I mean.........

FWIW, They fit and operate but just very sloppily on the Campy mount. I wonderred if another thin washer might take up the space.....hmmmmmmm.....

They work perfectly fine together. I have a set of clamp on Campagnolo with the Silver shifters attached on my 650b PX10. Works great and I haven't had any troubles with them.
