Raleigh USA Olympic Team frame
Purchased this bike from the owner of my nearest LBS today. I've been researching the Raleigh Team USA bikes because I thought from his description that's the bike he was talking about. The man is an older gentleman and he told me he bought this bike in 85' or 86' as a frame and fork. He also stated they were made for the USA Olympic team and just a handful of leftovers were sold to Raleigh dealers. I can't find any serial numbers on this frame and I just want to know what kind of bike I have here. The components are Campagnolo and Shimano 600 riding on Mavic rims with Campagnolo hubs. It's a super nice riding bike and it's just GORGEOUS. Thanks for any info.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, the dropouts are Campagnolo front and rear with the adjustment screws on the rear.

The road bikes the USA mens team members used at the '84 olympics were not Ralieghs, Alexi Grewall won on a Pinarello. Selection for the mens team was made just shortely before the olympics and they brought and rode whatever bike they were already racing on, the bikes were not furnished by the national team.
In contrast, the womens team may have been issued Raleighs to ride, pictures how Connie winning on a Raleigh.
Raleigh did have a sponsorship tie-in for the track bikes used at the '84 games and they subsequently sold many, many road bikes with "team USA" paint scheme in the subsequent years due to the advertizing exposure they got from the olympics. I would be skeptical that this bike was ever intended for an olympic team member.

Thanks for the info. It's really odd to me that I can't find any numbers or any other pictures that are similar to this frame. I've been digging all day and can't seem to find any info on this frame.
