I pretty sure I have the same bike! No stickers on mine either though. Mine has 650b wheels on it, the same top tube cable guide and the same spoke holder. I have been wondering what kind of bike it was so thanks!

Actually I guess the "spoke holder" is more like a chain slap guard?

Do a search of various threads, you will see my Katakura Silk along with others. Mine is a 1985 or 1986 model, I am thinking 1986, as the fork is dated September 1985. The other components that came with my bike have early 1985 date codes (bike did not come complete). Recreating Katakura decals would be some work.

Head badge was a cheesy decal, as is the decal on the seat tube. Frame tubing decal is a separate decal. Mine is missing the decal on the fork. There is also a decal on the chain stay.
