It's been five and half years since someone's posted a yellow Pugeot UE-18! (And three years since I built this one for my wife and she still hasn't ridden it)

This lovely old Torpado and I spent little time together. Here it is pictured in "as found" condition...

I did build up this old Chiorda Mixte for someone else, but I did ride it to ensure all was working properly...

And this old Jeunet was found and passed to a new home after a rebuild...

Nice bikes. The Jeunet looks more orange than yellow though.

The world needs fewer red and black bikes with a corresponding increase to yellow and pink.

The Jeunet does look a bit orange in the first picture (post # 78) but in brighter daylight conditions, its true yellow comes out much better...

I like the look if it better in the light.

I once had a bike that Dr. Deltron painted a true shade of purple. It was a gorgeous color, but for the life of me, I couldn't take a picture of it where the color was true to life.

Love it! Looks like we are twins. Mine is a more pale yellow but the respray matches the original.

Below is the progress photo of the redo of the Trek 560 posted in No. 56 above. I had a brake and handle bar bundle, Shimano 6207 600 levers and calipers, with Cinelli stem. Tape is original to that set and will get replaced sooner rather than later. RD, FD, and cranks are Shimano 6207 600 as well. 28mm Gatorskins are from Ribble. Wheelset is OEM to the original 1986 bike. I'll probably slap a Brooks B17 on it as it will never be a rain bike, paint is too nice.

Looks like the rear brake cable housing needs to be trimmed.

Next up, the yellow and white RB-1

Well it is a Cetma. But only the front wheel was hand built, - by Tahn from Willow Glen Bikes in San Jose California.

Thanks Bill! - I picked it up in college when I worked for a local shop. My first quality road bike.

Really enjoying the C&V forum.
