My '86 Peugeot Tourmalet park bike

Just wanted to show off this old Peugeot Tourmalet that I found in my dad's garage. He was about to give it away and I nabbed it just in time. Told him this thing would make an awesome park bike. The damn thing was mint.

I cleaned it up, but new bars on it, some city break levers, new saddle and pedals. Bam, this thing is clean and a blast to ride. Nothing is more fun than passing some modern bike on this beast!

Cheers,
bkdelux

Funny thing, I've spent thousands of dollars on bikes and this little project has brought me more joy than I can say...

(That doesn't surprise me one iota though - The best deal on earth is still C&V.)

So true, and the best deals always bring the most joy. It's like what they say about free beer.
