a bianchi hung as an art object at Guggenheim

pictured last saturday at the Maurizio Cattelan's exhibition at Guggenheim, NYC.
https://www.guggenheim.org/new-york/e...o-cattelan-all

a gold color bianch—no wonder he's an italian here—being one of many art objects displayed hung from the ceiling of the museum.
(not sure what model is, maybe somewhere in 60's guessing from the crankset shape?)

thought, some folks here could think somewhat interesting.

Looks like a cheap, mid-1970's Bianchi city bike.

I'm not even sure it's a city bicycle. It ooks like a late 1970s, entry level, sports models with added flat bar, fenders and lighting system. The city bicycles from this era would normally have a generator tab on the forks and handlebars would have more sweep and rise.

My guess, along with T-Mar's, is that the bicycle is an entry level mid seventies offering, much like the Bianchi Sprint...
