Help with a UFO please.

Please help ID: Looks Japanese to me. Repainted so no labels or badges. A heavier frame but better Japanese components, Suntour etc. with Shimano 105 gears. Campy dropouts.

I dunno. Nothing about it screams Japanese to me; least of all the Campy dropouts. Do you know what the BB threading is?

I've seen Windsors with the serial number on the seatpost like that.

+1 Windsor Carrera to be exact, this one's been re-painted so the chrome lugs and forkcrown are painted-over.

Windsor. I like those bars. I also spy a Sunshine 7 hole front hub.

It certainly does appear to be an Acer-Mex product and a Windsor Carrera. The only thing throwing me off are the Campagnolo dropouts. The Carrera I've seen used Tange tubing with SunTour or Shimano dropouts, while the Campagnolo dropouts were typically reserved for the Columbus tubed frames. I'd be curious to know the seat post size and whether the bottom inside of the fork's steering column has Columus' five helical ridges.
