A C&V Christmas carol

This is dedicated to my fellow northerners, who brave the elements and ride through the winter.

Sung to the tune of "Jingle Bells"

Dashing through the snow
On twenty pounds of steel
Getting sprayed with slush
From my spinning wheel
SUVs out speeding
Getting in the way
Oh, what fun it was to ride
In the snow today

Chorus: Oh! Pinarello, Campagnolo , Guerciotti
Instead of riding in the snow
I should have a lobotomy

Saw another biker
Riding his fixed gear
When I dropped him on the hill
It didn’t bring me cheer
Dodging slush and ice
So, I wouldn’t slip
At least I didn’t take a fall
And break my freakin’ hip

(Chorus)

My derailleurs aren’t shifting
My brakes don’t want to work
I’m dressed in eighteen layers
I look like a jerk
I cannot feel my fingers
I cannot feel my toes
And I have snot running down my face
Like a garden hose

(Chorus)

My shades are getting foggy
It makes it hard to see
I’m stopping every mile
Just to take a pee
The temperature keeps dropping
I’m getting crazy looks
And my poor testicles
Are frozen to my Brooks

(Chorus)

Feel free to add a few verses.
