what is the difference between vintage nuovo record and super record brake calipers?

Welcome aboard!

Super Record calipers use alloy brake pad holders while Nuovo Record uses steel. Otherwise, they're identical

Super Record levers are pierced (not actually drilled) and Nuovo Record are completely smooth. Otherwise, they're identical too.

That's quite a collection, I take it you don't really like
colnago's do ya? (heavy sarcasm).
Being in Amsterdam I'd have thought you'd have at least one
Dutch bike from some of the Amsterdam builders like RIH or Zieleman.
oh well one can't have everything.
I noticed that your 'nagos seem to be different sized, some look
like 56cm others 61cm bikes. Do you ride all of them?
and if so, which of those is your favorite ride?
Love the Sarroni red, that is an iconic bike in my opinion.

I did have a RIH- I bought it as a frame, made it singlespeed and sold it in Germany-
(that paid for the slx ) )
I wish it was one that was made by the brothers in the Jordaan, instead it was hand made at a bench in the factory.
I had a 'model campagnolo' one (I think), which was too big,so I gave to a friend.
We took it into the shop in the Jordaan and the the Gentleman said his father would have made it over 30 years earlier
You have a goode eye for size, own stable bikes are between 57-58 cm

If you find an early 70s Super, you'll have nearly the entire model lineup. A great mix of old and new.

Gomango is correct - we have lot's of Colnago enthusiasts on here :rolleyes:
