campa compatibility c-record with 8 speed ergo
Hi,
I'm fairly unexperienced with Campa and I thought I might ask before I try:
Can I use late 80s c-record gears with 8 speed ergos (on an 8 speed cassette)? And will the ergos be fine as brake levers for the Deltas?
Considering the various syncros indexing inserts for the different models of derailleurs it would sound very unlikely that one of them would have the same cable pull as the ergos... I assume at ergo time campa at least got one standard so the different groups can be mixed? Cheers

The brakes should be fine. as for the older C-rec RD working with the Ergos I really doubt it especially if it does not have an adjusting barrell. the RDs were redesigned to work with the Ergos so the cable pull is different.
