My Hot Tubes cyclocross frame
Custom made for me in 2003. Sold it as i had picked up not one but two Colnago cyclocross frames. In retrospect, I should have kept the Hot Tubes and let the Dream Cross go. Oh well.

I truly regret trading this:
...More in line with the OP, I regret selling my spare SLRs (two of the real ones with ti rails). I sold them for what I though was a fair price, but wouldn't you know it, on my very next ride after shipping them out, I broke a saddle and have not been able to find another SLR within ~$30 of what I sold mine for.
Also OT, I accidentally let a prized LP into a box of vinyl I sold at my garage sale last year for $5.00. I missed it so much I bought it again recently at a collectors price.
Finally, I regret selling my Camaro(s). I miss having a Camaro, and my favorite one (of the two I sold), sold for too little, and when the new owner came to pick it up... the tow truck driver had the title (the car had already been resold). Six months later I got a message from the (different) current owner who was wondering if I had a copy of the title (which had gotten lost somewhere along the way). I have an awful feeling that the car made it's way to the scrap yard shortly after. I think I'm going to be sick...

1987 63CM Bridgestone Mile 112. Still looking to replace it. Every time I find one either too much,no money or it sells before I get to it.

There is always another bike, another part or another bit of "stuff". If I get that strong an attachment to it, I don't sell it.

I would have to say the original Lambert I had with sew ups and the death fork. Was a pretty cool original bike. Bought it at a garage sale and wish I had never sold it. I always have my eye out for another one. Seen a lot of Viscounts, but not the Lambert.

I bought this garage queen Colnago Master Olymipic for parts but, after riding around on the Shamals and not really digging them, I sold it. I profited but I probably could have made a lot more than I did.

The regrets about selling stuff can drive one to become a collector or hoarder. I've so far managed to make peace with stuff I've sold with one exception. I picked up a 1962 Vox AC30/4 amp head at a local guitar shop. Back then I didn't know much about the history of those amps, and ended up selling it for what I thought was a good price, because it was heavy, and a little noisy. I have since discovered that those are pretty much holy grail amps, with a unique ef86 tube circuit. Years later I ran into the guy who bought it. He still has it, and actually used it to clone the circuit to produce his on line of hand-made replicas (JMJ Amps). He lets me play it sometimes...

One of the first bikes I ever brought home was the Hercules Kestral that recently went home to Photogravity. I am happy he got the frame and is enjoying it. When I got that bike it came with an amazing set of wheels (Omelenchuk/Durkopp) that I flipped on ebay. That, I regret.

With the exception of one or two I've regretted ever selling any of my bikes. Not that it's practical to keep every bike

The bike I regret selling is a 1967 Atala Record. I sold it at a really good price to a local collector that I've known for years. Shortly after the sale I recognized some of the components on ebay... he had parted it out. A few years later I found that the guy had moved a couple of times and was now living out of state. I contacted him and he still had the frame, so I promptly bought it back... for the same price I'd sold him the entire bike. Was it worth it? I don't know, the frame arrived at my house about a year ago but I haven't unwrapped it.

I believe it's the second incarnation of the Record FD, with a slot added to the cable stop. Nevertheless, it is one of the early FD's associated with the first-generation version for having that cable stop.
It hardly broke $50 on eBay. Wasn't worth selling it.
