    Help ID the group

    Hi all,
So this bike is being given away for a case of beer. It's too big for me but if he group is what I'm hoping it to be, I'll just transfer them to a frame that fits. So.. Is it a 600 group? Maybe tri-color?

    Thanks in advance!

Might be 600 right before tri-color (gray color, single pivot brakes). I don't think you can go wrong here.

It also may be a 105 group from the same era, as the shifters aren't dark anodized, but that's still a pretty good group. Go for it!

Shimano Exage; possibly a mutt between 300EX/400EX/Exage Motion parts. Not much conclusive data out there on what-makes-what in the Exage world (and I haven't checked the Shimano catalogs).

I think I am going to agree with Kurt, looks like a mix from what is seen and I don't think it's 600 tri color ( at least the crank set isn't) but it is still worth a case of beer IMHO.
