Bianchi Allero

I'm going to look at a Bianchi Alloro and was wondering where this model stands in the Bianchi lineup..... It is a 1997 full Campy.

Looks like a '97, which seems the only one that's spec'd with Campy Veloce/Athena. Check the item on BikePedia. Looks in great shape, but I'm distracted by that hideous saddle...

It would be veloce and pretty near the top of the lineup. Iirc, it was the lowest reparto course bike. I had a later Alloro when it was aluminum and came with Ultegra.

Is that the Julie Furtado saddle? Classic lugged steel, Bianchi does such good work.

I'm not sure about the saddle, but I'm going to look at it later today. I'm not sure about the tubing either, I think it may have some type of oval tubing.
