"Own a piece of history!"
Never thought I'd see the day a Schwinn would be that valuable to someone.

No one cares
it's only that expensive if someone buys it.

So, it didn't sell for $3050.00 so he dropped it to $3025.00 and again it didn't sell so the next logical step is to raise the starting bid to $3099.98.

Meh. It's only a Schwinn . . . .
Besides, there's nothing on it for a hipster Drew to drew off of it.

I love sellers that raise their asking price after their initial overpriced starting bid auction ended with no bids.
Its like they think "Oh boy, my item didn't get a single bid at 20 dollars starting bid, lets raise the new starting bid to 30 dollars the next auction! I'm real smart at this logic thing!"

Looks like a good deal to me. I would pop for that over a Cinelli or other super euro bike. Come on its an Emil built Paramount. Its the definition of vintage. Check out those hubs.

Let's see - no one on the entire planet was willing to bid $450, so let's raise that min. to $650! Yeah, that makes sense to me - not!

I can't figure out what has made these older bikes so valuable suddenly. You can't buy anything off ebay anymore. CL seems to be the only available avenue ---- and they are double what they were two years ago.

Whether this bike would sell for what the seller is asking is another matter, but c'mon, this is a very early Paramount, not your average or typical "older bike."

There was a chrome Paramount track bike at the Madison swap last month that sold for 5-600. If that wasn't a steal I don't know what is. I didn't really look at it because I thought it was going to be an arm and a leg. That's crazy though for this bike.
