Would Campy Record 8 Speed Rear Derailleur Pulleys fit older 5 & 6 speed Campy?

I would assume they would be for the same size chain. I wrote this seller on eBay and asked, he wrote back "No, they're too wide". Which was an answer I didn't expect.

Do you have calipers to measure their width?

Unfortunately, I don't have access to the pulleys, they're for sale on eBay.

If you change both pulleys, then the thickness will not matter to the derailleur. However, you may have to use a thinner chain, 8 speed or 9 speed that than a 5 speed chain.

They need to be the correct width for best performance. The width of the pulleys determines the width of the cage.
