Would a Vintage French road bike have reynold 531 stickers in English?

    Hello,

I own a Vintage road bike - I was told that it is French by the seller,
however I remember that the 531 decals were printed in English.
The B.B is french threaded as is the headset. the seat post is 26.2
dropouts brev campy, stem CINELLI 22.0
Can anyone shed light on this?

    Thanks Elad

French bikes sometimes had Reynolds decals in English. It doesn't mean anything. That the bike uses French threading & a 22.0 stem makes it almost certainly French.

+1, and it could also be a replacement decal since the originals often flake away.
Reminded me of all the Italvegas (made in Italy by Torpado) that came with a Columbus foil sticker in French...the cause of much confusion when trying to ID an incognito bike.
