What style is my campy seatpost? Thanks to all! :-)

I recently bought this Campy seatpost, and I'm confused as to which model it is. I would sincerely appreciate everyone's input. Thank you!

The style is aero. It could be any of a number of models including Victory, Triomphe, Chorus and Croce d'Aune. Is the clamp steel or aluminum?

I'm no expert, but that clamp does not look factory... here's the clamp on mine (which i believe is Chorus)... all of the campy ones I have came across (had three, sold one...) have this style of clamp...

Steel is real. All others need not apply.

Yes, SR maybe indeed, and not the abbreviation for Super Record.

It's a mutt. Hope it works. It was not intended to.

I agree the post looks like C-Rec era (hard to tell them apart) but that is not a Campi clamp

That's neither a SR clamp or a Campagnolo factory clamp; it's a generic clamp off a half-decent, forged Japanese post. Note the separate square bolt on top vs. a threaded top plate.

I wouldn't risk relying on it.
