What group are you interested in and at what time period is it from? Campy parts can be complicated. Lots of names. And way back, the names get moved around so what was once really good stuff became middle of the road. Gran Sport, for example.

Regarding the three you mentioned; it would be Record, then Chorus, then Centaur. There was also Veloce and Mirage in the same series. A while back, Athena was in the mix along with Croce d'Aune. I think Athena was a notch below Daytona, which had to be changed to Chorus because of legal complications(didn't want people confusing bicycle parts with NASCAR race tracks or cities in Florida and elsewhere).

record and chorus are typically functionally identical (record was/is lighter and uses better materials) but centaur has gone through phases. some years it was nearly identical to record/chorus, other years it had reduced functionality, and others it was a mountain bike group.
