Colnago Paint

Hello Guys,

My Next project is a complete respray and rebuild of a Colnago. It looks like a 70's frame it's 52cm. Does anyone know the paint code to Colnago Red? It's kinda of an orange red. If I have to I will post pictures. But I think most of you know what a Colnago looks like.
The reason it's being repainted is the original owner sprayed rattle can primer on anything that looked like rust. Sad, it could have been saved.

If there is any left, you can take it to an auto paint shop and they can match it. Probably ferrari red though

I have had really good luck removing rattle can with acetone. If you haven't tried it yet, I would give it a go.

There are chemicals that you can use to clean the primer off and save the
Original paint if you think it's savable
