Where do I find myself one of those marble painted Tommasinis in white for sale? I saw one in the "For sale" thread, but was too late and sold. So sad..

I bought this bike after it was listed in the CL/Ebay thread. Paid what he asked and got the bike today. Its legit. I am going to have it cleaned up this week and should be rolling next week. Will post pictures here when that happens.

Looks great! Marble paintjob is not common, and hence makes the bike even more special. I'd try to play a bit with colors of bartape and maybe saddle to make it standout even more. But that's just my idea. Happy for you :-)

Looks remarkably like my T. due to the paint colors. Great job.

Hey all,
Yesterday the day after l'Eroica, I spent the entire day with Irio. I have photos, hopefully a video interview with him as well as stories told over lunch at his place that I will eventually report back with. It was an amazing visit, I have to say. Furthermore, I am even more convinced that we have a master builder still among us that knows and appreciates cycling's history - he truly deserves respect.
Iris speaks of Pela as most Americans think of Faliero Masi. Anna, his wife, even says that hearing Irio talk about him in such glowing terms, she feels like he's talking about her father. Just amazing!

Need some help repairing C-record rear derailleur
Has anyone ever taken one of these apart. My Tommasini is out of commission until I can get this thing fixed.
The tang is broken off the stop part. I think I have found a replacement, but don't find it obvious as to how to remove the broken part. Is it perhaps pressed over a retention element on the bolt that attaches the derailleur to the drop out? Any advice is appreciated.
