I (believe) it is a crank puller that is attached to a socket.

Ok.. So, I tried to ship the BOC yesterday afternoon, but I apparently used too much brown packing tape 'covering the integrity of the box,' so my PO wouldn't accept it as a Priority Mail delivery. They wanted something like $45 for Priority shipping, or $24 for Parcel Post, or I could put it in a new box. Needless to say, the BOC will go out in a new box today..

Well, that inhales! I wonder if that is what happened with the box a while back. It had been reinforced with tons of Duck tape and whatnot and they mustn't have liked it much.

Yup, so the moral of the story apparently is to use clear packing tape!

that is a possibility. i tried to make sure the priority logos were all still visible. but then the post office LOST the box somehow.

there wasn't very much of value in the last BOC anyways. since the new game, the crap's quality has increased and DD's been running a tight ship

Yep, compact crank puller.

Also, it is my understanding that duct tape is a major mailing no-no, but I had no idea they cared about the color of the packing tape!

As a member of the Federal civil service it's a shame we don't get more credit than we do for all our good work and that which is accomplished by the Federal Government.

Clear packing tape is the rules, I bought a roll and pretty much used the whole thing on the box when last I saw it.

Well, I for one salute you

You know, sometimes accomplishment is the real reward; at least that's been my experience. Oh, and the travel

I went through the USPS stuff, they claim duct tape etc can't stand up to the conditions that packages are subjected too while going through the mail.

i wonder what conditions are fine for clear tape over cardboard is ok but not clear tape over ducttape. i could understand worrying about becoming unstuck but clear tape over the duct tape is gonna hold it all on

nrowensby - roger. I've removed you from the list.

Let me know if you'd like to be added onto the end - perhaps you can play with us at a later date?

Ok, I took some good crap and added some good items too. The box will be going to hairnet tomorrow...from northern AZ to CA should only be a few days.
