    thanks for posting that.
been slammed at work all weekend, will send out tomorrow.

the box is still completely crammed full of stuff, most I can't use.
I grabbed the Mafac "ville" levers, the french threaded look pedals & the miller headlamp.
    Added a little more crap

The box landed in Colorado today, and boy is it heavy!

    Here is the as-received picture:

Lumpydog has requested that the box not arrive at his location until the 25th, so I'll be shipping the crap out on Tuesday the 22nd, which gives me a bit of time to decide what to take and what to add.

And my picks from the box:
A 600 rear derailer, RX100 shifters, and a nice long stem.

Box is all packed up and labeled and will be on its way to Lumpydog tomorrow morning.

Ok. I lied about "almost". Add me in to the list again, please.

Was thinking about putting on my latest Sirrus build, but now I just want to start another- lol. Damn you, BOC!!!!! Just kidding, love my new stuff, and it's20140428_135923.jpg20140428_135700.jpg found a good home:-)

Well, I see RS has been taking up where I've been slacking - good on you, my man

Back from my road-trip and my house is pretty much in order. Later this week I have my final two medical consults to finish up (one which requires a probe stuck into my left thigh with electric shocks - should be fun...). Then the VA to figure my disability (sometime in May), and I'm all done.

Planning for my June ride from WA to AZ is in full-swing - it was nice to drive much of the route when I brought my car back from AZ, so I have an idea what I'm in for.

Updates have been made to Post #1 , and dwellman, you've been re-added for another go-around; welcome back!

We've had quite a few people with RL problems that've popped up, I'd rather give the benefit of the doubt than bust out the pitchforks and torches just yet.. although reply to a PM sent a while ago would have removed most doubt. Even US at least pretended to be sending it back out.

Let me raise a meta issue. It sounds like it doesn't apply in this instance, but might well have in others.

The only non-admin way for us to contact another person is via private message. If someone encounters health issues (some of us are on the far side of the hill age-wise, and things can happen to the best of us), it is highly unlikely that that person's loved ones will monitor his/her BF private messages. I trust that the admins can always get through via email, but it might make sense to require new additions to cough up an email address to be held in escrow by DD or a delegate of his choosing. Just for cases like this.

We tend to have access to the persons name/address... which usually means we can look up said person and attempt to contact them directly. Such things have been done before, but are not resorted too until other options are exhausted..

Speaking of exhausted options, @lumpydog do I need to make up a batch of decals yet?

No. when I received the box there was still quite a few stickers in there- got one for myself:-) I wonder what happened to MAV? Haven't been on in a week, so didn't know what was happening until RS asked about stickers. Think I still have an address in my PM's- we could ride down there hehe-J/K

As we've done in the past, we'll give it a few more days (and the benefit of the doubt). It's just a little frustrating to hear no word at all, even if it's a quick "I'm delayed"; we all have lives to live. I get that.

But if one is online, as himespau noted, then it gets harder to understand the lack of communication. In any case, I'm hoping M A V checks into the net and gives us the current skinny

On a final note, if this box has indeed gone south, I quit; I don't want to be the "bad guy" anymore.

The box was mailed Monday and the recipient has the tracking number. To say the last couple weeks have been "interesting" would be putting lightly. I have been dealing with some life changing events since March and I should have opted out of the box but honestly forgot about it till I was told it was on its way. Thank you for your understanding and I'll post what I received soon enough.
