Okay guys, I'm mostly healed and have one last final tomorrow as well as my holiday shopping is almost done. Thursday approximately I'll finally sort all the garbage out of the box and begin printing the new decals.

Good to hear you are mostly healed, couldn't come soon enough. Hope you get a nice helmet under the tree!

Probably time to change your nickname to RaleighCrash, eh?

Just a heads-up: I'll be flying to Phoenix on December 23rd and not coming back to WA until late February. Therefore, the BOC needs to either get to me with a 5-day grace period (so that I can sort, remove, add and then get it gone again) based upon my departure date or I need to move myself down the list.

Failing that, I suppose I could have it mailed to my mom's addy in Phoenix, but then I'd not be able to add anything to the box. I only have a single built-up bike in Phoenix; nothing more.

Either way works for me

The "slacker" is checking in The news: HUMIDITY! Unfortunately I don't have a sealed clean room for decal production, so I'm waiting on the first decent batch that came out to dry enough to seal with clearcoat, then I have no idea how long the clearcoat is going to take. Just letting you all in on what's going on, and Jeff if need be I can send a package your way and the box on to the list proper, let me know.

How about sending the BOC to me now and the decals can catch up at the next stop? You can send the decals to Dallas and I'll send the BOC on to him myself. I'd need to receive it in the next few days, tho, as I fly out on the 23rd and won't be back for 2 months. I have some crap here but nothing in AZ

Let me know if you can shoot it out early this week. If not, I'll provide mom's address - if y'all don't have any issues about me not putting anything in! Otherwise, shoot for sending it - with decals - to Dallas and I'll get back in the rotation once I return from AZ.

Jeff - just take some crap with you AZ. But in your carry on. Don't want TSA shaking you down for a Shimano Lark RD or one of those sinister looking MAFAC levers.

OTOH, the box is always a little too full of crap anyway, it seems.

Funny, your remarks about the TSA - because I had issues with them my last trip to AZ while trying to carry some bike-specific tools on the plane in my CO. I had to have my checked bag recalled and put the stuff in there. PITA. Never again. The older I get, the faster I seem to learn my lessons - although next trip up Hurricane Ridge I'll still be going with a 24T. I can be stubborn about things that really, really matter and that one is a matter of pride

Crud I should have checked in sooner and done as you suggested. I'm still refilling the box with useable/servicable/strippable for parts components, there's a lot of non useable in any state stuff in it at the moment, decals are are almost completely done as well. Let me know you preference Jeff, no ones going to object to it just passing through by you.

Having looked through bins of confiscated stuff being sold off by TSA, I can tell you that a pedal wrench can not be carried-on.

That and my BB fixed cup tool were the ones they objected to, so I believe it.

I don't think a reboot is necessary. As I understand it, the box is somewhere between @RaleighSport and @Drillium Dude, with DD in transit somewhere between WA and AZ. If anyone can be trusted to get it moving again, it's those two...

Nah, we don't require a reboot here.

RS: I'll be back in Seattle this coming Sunday evening. If you want to send it along vice skipping over me, have at it. I'd wait until Wednesday or Thursday, but even if you send earlier my front office will hold it for me.

I hope I didn't offend anyone. @RaleighSport and @Drillium Dude are among my favorite people in this forum. I didn't read the thread for the last few posts, just sort of mindlessly typing on auto-pilot.

No issue here; no offense taken. I get the concern, because we have lost the Box before. This situation is a little different as we are trying to ensure a new set of decals goes into the box and since I'm just days away from getting back home, we've foregone skipping me in favor of delaying a little longer.

Bump.

I'm back in WA. Anytime you're ready to send the box, RS, it's all good.

PG: need to get your addy for the follow-on shipment. Thanx!
