Folks might want to take a couple extra moments to remove the addresses from box pictures. Not everybody wants their legal name and address posted online.

A little late, I had to dig through the parts pile to try to remember what I took out of the box. Here they are, some sweet blue bmx style levers and a 8 speed trigger shifter.

Good show - thanks man! Are the blue bodies anodized alloy or some sort of plastic?

I think they're powdercoated. Yhey might be good for the occasional skanky flatbar singlespeed that I like to build

I removed them from a woman's Trek years ago but just never had a use for them. I am 99.9% sure they were for V brakes because I had/have a set the same color in my brake bin. I am pretty sure they are Tektros

Hey dwellman, I take it you got this sent without incident? If so: realestvin7, have you received the BOC yet?

We're looking forward to seeing some pics!

Seeing this, I modified post one - I, of course, went off the post from the 22nd and orginally set the "sent date" as the 22nd. Not correct in the end, right?

This is why I simply ask that anyone playing the game let me/us know the sent date either by PM or a simple post directly to the thread.

This game has gone south more than once; it seems IOT keep it from happening again, constant diligence is a requirement. I'd rather not have to be the diligent one, myself. All it takes is each person to observe the 10 simple rules each time and give a heads-up once the box is on the way.

Remember, it's not just the follow-on recipient that's excited about the movement/contents of the box - there are lots more down the list that are currently tuned into this saga

Keep it simple, follow the basic rules and keep everyone in the loop - in other words, do as you'd want someone to do for you. Thanks!

The Dude's got a point. I'm at the bottom. I would hate for the chain to fizzle out before it gets close...

Dunno, looks to me like he did send it on the 22nd and it's 'out for delivery' today. Some of us who have already had the box are "excited" to continue to watch this move on down the line and see how it progresses too

If it's out for delivery today, he probably did ship it on the 22nd... I'm pretty sure he was copy/pasting the info from the tracking information from the post office, not saying that he dropped it off at the post office (at least that's how I read it).... but I completely agree with taking a moment to follow the rules and keep everyone in the loop!

This is how I see it.

I have PM'd realestvin my address a couple days ago.

Please forgive me if I read that wrong. That's exactly why I believe it would be less confusing if everyone will simply post an "I sent it today" note either on the thread or in a PM to me (since I check this thread daily to either add people to the list or update the received/sent status).

Again, my apologies to dwellman if in fact the box was sent on 22 April

it was dropped of, but not processed until 23. . . they're closed on Sunday, after all.

Your item was delivered at 10:51 am on April 25,

No need to apologize. I wasn't clear what "drop off at the self serve kiosk" would entail exactly.

Please add me to the list! This is very exciting, as I just cleaned up my personal BOC and I know I've got plenty of goods to share with the world...

Thanks DD for organizing this!
